Oswego Luxury, Ltd. closed its retail location June, 27th 2008.
Thank you for your patronage and support. It was a pleasure working with and serving you. It was my intention to serve you long term. As with many business closings, there are unfortunate circumstances in ours as well.
The issues that lead to, and the repercussions thereof, Tom Capps’ untimely departure impacted the company greatly. Combined with the evolving economics of the automotive industry, the risks associated with owning and operating any business, and keeping everybody’s interests in mind this was my best decision for all parties. As a minority shareholder and with limited capital resources, I was unable to restore the business from the damage done or begin to restore the business to a state that properly serves you.
Please know this decision did not come easy.
I have worked hard to properly attend to the many aspects of closing a business; however, I am aware that there may be unfinished business and even a few “loose ends” to attend to. Please know I’m proactively working on these issues.
